ADRIANA MIRANDA is a Puerto Rican artist whose unapologetically honest paintings make viewers find a new appreciation for their own individualism. It wasn’t until she studied Impressionism under Katherine Jost at SAIC that she understood her place in fine art. Basquiat has inspired her artworks’ neoexpressionist style, and given her a clear view of what she wants her legacy to accomplish.
