ADRIANA MIRANDA
Adriana's artistic journey began in Phoenix, AZ, before she relocated to Oak Park, IL, at the age of five. From an early age, she displayed a remarkable talent for both music and art. At fifteen, she was awarded a scholarship to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where her mentor instilled in her a profound appreciation for the transformative power of art.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sources, Adriana's style is characterized by its blend of nostalgia and lightheartedness. She humorously credits Steve from Blue's Clues and the street and graffiti artist David Choe as influences but acknowledges that her greatest inspiration comes from her two children, Avi and Uli. Adriana infuses her work with a joy that reflects her experiences of parenthood.
Looking ahead, Adriana Miranda is eager to expand her artistic horizons by delving into large-scale works and integrating more three-dimensional elements into her art. This exploration reflects her ongoing commitment to pushing boundaries and exploring new avenues of expression.
Through her art, Adriana seeks to connect with her audience on a profound level, inviting them to share in the reflective and cathartic experience that each artwork embodies. She looks forward to continuing this transformative journey, embracing new techniques and perspectives to further her artistic practice.
